What actually happened here

We were told to stay informed. We did. We were told to unplug. We tried. What we needed wasn't answers — it was emotional support. This is not a children's book. It's a board book for grown-ups who have lived through "unprecedented times" one too many times — filed by a task force of five pets with absolutely nothing to offer except their company.

Nothing has changed.
